Your essay is one
of the most important areas of a university application. It is vital you compose
a well structured essay that holds the response of the admissions officer. A bad
essay can negatively affect your chances. Most students, who write in for essay
help, write the personal statement as an autobiographic essay. The hard facts,
are that the essay should be close to the reasons why you wish to study a particular.
It is very
common for foreign students to demonstrate poor English - most write from dictionaries
or textbooks - this type of essay is typical - although one would find this humours.
You must remember that a critical part of the UCAS personal statement is the introduction.
You want your first few sentences to engage the reader and keep him reading on.
If he is bored by the introduction, your essay may not get the attention it deserves.
An interesting way to begin an essay is to provide an interesting narrative, anecdote,
or example. Getting the balance right can sometimes prove difficult. For
example I
always find Truth and Beauty in a good novel. From the first book to my last book,
they have one thing in common - they stimulate my imagination in a way nothing
else can. It
is impossible for me to read without creating the characters and stories in my
mind. My passion for more knowledge and expression is fulfilled when I visit the
Nanchang library. Much of what I read finds a place in my journalistic writing.
Journalism is a natural stepping stone to expand my creativity and knowledge.
I currently write for a large newspaper called Jiangxi. This experience has given
much opportunity - I can make a positive difference to people's lives. Although
I have carved an excellent education in China - with high prospects - it is time
to translate my skills and embark on an English education. |
